Facing rocket attacks in the north and the south, the people of Israel are looking to you for help.

The nightmare of a two-front war grows closer to reality, as Israelis were killed and injured over the last day-and-a-half in separate rocket attacks in both the south and north of the country.

Yesterday, Hamas rockets killed a 20-year-old Israeli in the Negev region and injured five others, including one who’s in critical condition. Meanwhile, on the Lebanese border, a Hezbollah rocket killed a 40-year-old Israeli civilian this morning and injured three others.

All told, about 3,400 Israelis have been injured and more than 1,200 killed since the war began last week. Magen David Adom paramedics and EMTs have been working around the clock, preventing the fatality rate from climbing even higher.

Complicating matters, about a dozen MDA ambulances have been destroyed or disabled by rocket shrapnel and bullets, making the need for additional vehicles more crucial than ever as the men and women of MDA continue to risk their lives to save the lives of others.
